About The Position

The Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Services provides operational leadership for all outpatient procedural areas. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, efficient case flow, and high-quality patient care in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years peri-procedural or perioperative nursing experience or a combination of critical care experience, with at least 2 years in a progressive leadership role.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Current RN license in New York State.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Knowledge of ASC regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety practices preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and drive operational improvements.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of all ASC procedural areas, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and procedural teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements specific to ASC operations.
Monitor departmental performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement operational enhancements.
Support staff development, training, and professional growth within ambulatory services.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and operational planning for the ASC.
