About The Position

To attain goals, set objectives and ensure plans and policies are implemented for established ambulatory area(s) of responsibility with scope score range of less than 2 as defined in the UAB Medicine Nurse Manager Recruitment and Retention Plan. To ensure that the services provided are delivered within established quality and financial standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of related experience. Prior leadership experience preferred. Work experience may not substitute for education requirement.
Current Alabama RN license required.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment.
ACLS and/or PALS certification may be required based upon clinic need. If required, must be obtained within six (6) months of employment.
Must be self-directed / self-motivated; must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
