Acts as a liaison between Ambulatory Services and other departments providing care and services in the clinics. Markets and promotes clinic services provided by Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Identifies and pursues gainful opportunities and ventures for Ambulatory Services. Leads ambulatory-wide initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and practice requirements. Current CPR certification – Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required or within 6 months of hire. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent knowledge) in healthcare or related business field required. Two years of outpatient clinical or similar experience. Two years formal leadership experience required. Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision. Good organizational and patient relation skills. High level of communication skills necessary for assessment of patient and family concerns and processing referrals for appropriate medical care. Ability to read, interpret and enact policies and procedures. Ability to stand and walk approximately 75% of the work time. Advanced analytical and decision making skills necessary to resolve employee and operational problems and assist in the development of departmental budgets and operational planning.
