Sitting within the Strategic Initiatives team and reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will be Evidence Action's go-to on AI strategy: on where the opportunities are, what’s working now, what the risks look like, on how we can put AI to work effectively across our programs and operations, and in how we represent Evidence Action's AI work in the broader field. They will own our global AI roadmap, managing our relationship with Anthropic, enabling our high impact pilots and use cases, and co-leading AI innovation alongside champions across all regions of our organization while serving as the central hub connecting their work. This is not a primarily technical role. Success here means building the systems, relationships, and capabilities that enable 900+ staff across the organization to leverage AI in their work and ensuring that our significant AI investment generates measurable returns. We’re looking for someone who can bring structure across complex initiatives, communicate effectively across teams located in the US, India, and Africa, has a curiosity and growing skillset in AI, and the ability to collaborate with and influence senior leaders. This is a one-year fixed-term role, with a genuine opportunity to shape what comes next: as AI at Evidence Action matures, so too will this role, and we hope to extend the term should the opportunity arise.
