We are looking for a technical, hands-on Applied AI Scientist to join the GenAI Lab in the AI.x team. This team is responsible for creating innovative AI solutions, selecting AI models and prompts, implementing quantitative evaluations of models and prompts, and experimenting with the latest AI tools. We have a short-to-medium term time horizon, so in this role you will not only be experimenting with models, tools and multi-agent systems, but also applying them to tangible business goals. You have a bias to action and can context switch between different research projects. You will work directly with the engineering team: not only mentoring them on the latest in AI but also creating solutions and writing code that can go all the way into production. You are confident in your traditional data science and coding skills and have also leveled up by applying the latest AI tools. You want to build fast but also know how to reduce risk and work in a regulated environment, upholding the trust that our clients give us.
