Purpose: As a Manager, AI Products within the Customer AI Products and Strategy (CAPS) team, you will play a crucial role in driving the evolution of our business to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers and enhance their experience. You will collaborate closely with other commercial teams to translate business needs into innovative advanced analytics solutions. This role will have a significant impact on decision-making at senior levels, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth, share growth, and improve our commercial model. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of AI/ML digital products for commercial, medical, and patient engagements, with an initial focus on the Omni-channel program for healthcare providers and patients. A practical understanding of AI/Machine Learning techniques, being a self-starter, and the ability to adjust quickly to changing needs and priorities are essential. Key partnerships include all Janssen NA Pharm businesses including omni-channel Operations, advanced analytics, sales, marketing, Commercial Excellence, patient services, medical affairs, and business technology teams. You will be responsible for:

  • Drive clear and effective business translation of AI/ML products between business and technical stakeholders.
  • Lead collaboration with partners across Marketing, Sales, StAT and Data Science teams to incorporate market research, strategic imperatives, competitive intelligence into AI products to influence key decisions and brand strategy.
  • Oversee the critical processes and resources that drive AI/ML products across brands. This includes leading contracted resources, prioritizing product enhancements, continuous process improvement/automation, and conducting quality checks on outputs.
  • Expertise applying AI/ML machine learning, quantitative methods, predictive modeling and other analytics frameworks and techniques is required
  • Experience with AI/ML enabled digital product development in a commercial, medical affairs, scientific affairs and/or R&D environment is required
  • Proactively leverage AI/ML knowledge and business strategy to evolve the commercial model using common and novel sources of data (e.g., commercial pharma, consumer, and census data).
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Emulate and cultivate a credo-based culture across a diverse range of business partners and teams
  • A minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or equivalent field.
  • MS / MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in analytics, management consulting, project management or equivalent field is required (commercial experience preferred)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with large pharmaceutical data sets, including medical and pharmacy claims, specialty pharmacy data, patient services and sales datasets (e.g., DDD, HUB, XPonent, IQVIA, SHS, MMIT…etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience in practical application of predictive modeling and demonstrated ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with project management expertise and executive presence are required
  • Skilled in data extraction and summarization from large datasets using SQL and basic statistical analysis using preferred languages (i.e., Python, SQL, R) is required.
  • Ability to translate business questions into fit-for-purpose analytical solutions, and interpret outcomes of data science models into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations is required
  • Demonstrated understanding of omnichannel marketing, especially within the pharmaceutical industry highly preferred.
  • Experience influencing and facilitating effective internal communications and collaborations in a matrixed and fast-paced environment is required.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
