We are seeking a Manager – Enterprise AI Council, Governance, to join our Risk Management team. They support the responsible, compliant, and business-aligned use of artificial intelligence (AI). They also support CC’s enterprise AI governance framework by providing structured oversight, risk evaluation, and coordination for AI-related tools and use cases. This role serves as a central point of integration across business, risk stakeholders, and technology, as well as acts as Chief of Staff to Enterprise AI.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in information systems, computer science, data Analytics, risk management, business, or a related field.
  • Have 7+ years of progressive experience in technology, risk management, data governance, compliance, consulting, or related discipline.
  • Have experience working at the intersection of business and technology.
  • Possess strong understanding of AI technologies, data flows, functionality, and common AI risks.
  • Possess strong knowledge of enterprise data environments and system integrations.
  • Possess a working knowledge of risk management concepts with particular emphasis on data privacy, information security knowledge.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong stakeholder management and project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

  • AI Governance Strategy and Oversight Provide subject matter expertise to evaluate AI tools and applications proposed by business teams, including architecture, model choices, data dependencies, and integration considerations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of AI technologies (e.g., large language models, AI-enabled applications, APIs, and data pipelines) to assess technical feasibility, risks, and appropriate use.
  • Council Enablement and Delivery Management Serve as Chief of Staff to the Enterprise AI Governance Council, coordinating agendas, materials, and governance workflows.
  • Prepare clear, decision-ready materials for Council review, including structured assessments of AI use cases, tools, and vendors.
  • AI Risk Assessment and Use Case Governance Partner with business owners and service line leaders to evaluate AI use cases, with a focus on technical design, model behavior, data usage, implementation approach, and risk exposure.
  • Identify, assess, and document key risks (including regulatory, privacy, reputational, and operational risks) and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Project Management and Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate the governance review lifecycle for AI use cases, including intake, triage, review, and escalation where required.
  • Manage timelines and dependencies across business and functional stakeholders to support efficient, well-documented evaluation and approval processes.
