About The Position

More than 1,500 GTC advisors are industry leaders in providing premium travel services to leisure travelers, corporate executives and the entertainment industry. GTC’s combined global reach and leverage translate into value, recognition and preferential treatment for its world traveler clients. The Manager, Advisor Recruitment – US Western Region is a field-based business development role responsible for driving new independent advisor acquisition across the Western United States. This role is heavily focused on proactive “hunter” activity — generating leads, building pipeline through industry events and conferences, networking within luxury travel communities, and closing high-potential advisors into the Global Travel Collection (GTC). The Manager will serve as the face of GTC in the Western territory, developing market intelligence, identifying competitive opportunities, and building a consistent, high-quality pipeline of independent advisors and branch opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience within the travel industry or luxury sales, with deep exposure to the luxury leisure vertical or the entertainment vertical (production, touring, talent, fashion, sports & media travel).
  • Demonstrated insider knowledge of the entertainment advisor ecosystem, including top-producing agencies, revenue structures, service models, consortium affiliations, and competitive host landscapes.
  • Proven success recruiting, courting, and closing high-producing advisors or agency teams, particularly those managing complex, high-touch Entertainment accounts.
  • Strong ability to assess book composition (production vs. touring vs. VIP), revenue quality, margin profile, and retention risk to identify strategic recruitment targets.
  • Established credibility and relationships within the Entertainment travel community, with the executive presence to engage senior advisors and agency principals as a peer.
  • Experience operating autonomously in a territory-driven “hunter” capacity, building a disciplined pipeline of elite recruitment prospects, and converting competitive opportunities.

  • Ability to travel extensively within the region (up to 30%).
  • Strong CRM and pipeline discipline.
  • Analytical ability to assess revenue potential and fit.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-direction.
  • Competitive, performance-driven, and goal-oriented.
  • Strong resilience and ability to navigate objections.
  • Collaborative team player aligned with broader GTC growth strategy.
