This is a key leadership role on a small, high-performing, and dynamic team; building the future of PG&E’s electrical grid that will reliably and safely deliver affordable and clean energy to our customers and communities. The Grid Operations, Applications, and Transformation (GOAT) team is dedicated to implementing and maintaining PG&E’s Operational Technology including the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), which is fundamental to a sustainable energy future and the Grid of Tomorrow. We are seeking an accomplished, integrity-driven, diverse, and collaborative individual to take on the essential leadership position for the System Procedures and Practices organization. The Manager provides a vision, aligned with GOAT leaders, on projects and goals of the SP&P organization; standardizing processes to improve efficiency for the GOAT organization. The Manager focuses on Operation Maintenance support, project delivery, maintaining oversight of the PMO and OCM, promoting activities that drive a roadmap to deliver their vision. The successful candidate will need to build and maintain relationships with the goal of being an integral partner and business liaison between line of business and IT; using their influence to overcome hierarchal challenges. The position will be responsible for leading the team in project and change management tasks, developing deployment plans, monitoring financials, and establishing best operational practices. The position will matrix, lead, and provide oversight for product owners, vendors, and line of business leaders. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
