The Manager, Accounting position will oversee and manage accounting functions, which may include revenue, accounts receivable, cash management, expenses, leases, accounts payable or inventory. Essential Job Functions Ensure required journal entries are entered in accordance with Hillman accounting policies and GAAP Analyze accounts looking for required accruals, reclass, and/or adjustments Proactively seek process improvement for close function Assists in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policy Leads, manages and develops a team, including setting goals, providing ongoing training and maintaining a strong employee relationship Participates in internal and external audits - interacts with auditors, prepares reports, and maintains required documentation.
