About The Position

Requirements

Fluency in English and Spanish.
Post-qualified accounting experience with strong technical accounting expertise.
Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams.
Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Dutch GAAP, with strong understanding of financial and operational controls.
Experience with SAP (ideally SAP S/4HANA) or comparable ERP systems.
Background in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a high-growth or scaling environment.
Experience working with large datasets and complex financial structures.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hyper-growth setting.
Experience collaborating with outsourced finance teams.

Nice To Haves

Comfort working in a remote or asynchronous work environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Manage accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial record integrity within core finance systems (SAP S/4HANA or similar).
Oversee and mentor a team of accountants and senior accountants, fostering high performance and accountability.
Coordinate with external finance outsourcing partners to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting transactions.
Deliver financial reporting and analysis, including support for statutory filings and management reporting requirements.
Design, review, and test internal financial controls to maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and Dutch GAAP standards.
Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to enhance scalability and efficiency within the finance function.
Maintain and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and operational control frameworks.
