Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, including 3 years of Accounting Advisory/Private Accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's and/or relevant advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Preferred).
  • Advanced credential (i.e. CPA).
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient use of technology.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.

  • Experience in business development activities.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and complete accounting projects for clients, including family offices and owner-operated business entities.
  • Engage in business development activities such as preparing proposals and presenting in webinars.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct primary and secondary reviews of complex accounting and financial reporting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP and OCBOA.
  • Identify and resolve financial-related issues.
  • Perform advanced accounting research with written conclusions.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Interns, Paraprofessionals, Associates, and Senior Associates.
  • Receive formal training, on-the-job training, and direct feedback from industry leaders.
