About The Position

At Andersen, we offer a thrilling expedition into the world of Tax, Valuation, and Business Advisory. As a Manager in our Private Accounting Solutions practice, you will oversee and complete accounting projects, providing innovative accounting planning and consulting for a variety of clients, including family offices and owner-operated business entities. You will engage in business development activities, maintain active communication with clients, conduct reviews of complex accounting issues, and supervise and mentor junior staff. Our firm is committed to your development, providing formal training, on-the-job training, and opportunities for additional training through internal and external resources.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, including 3 years of Accounting Advisory/Private Accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s and/or relevant advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (Preferred)
  • Advanced credential (i.e. CPA)
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proficient use of technology

Responsibilities

  • Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, etc.)
  • Maintain active communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and lead change effectively
  • Conduct primary and secondary review of complex accounting and financial reporting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP and OCBOA
  • Identify and resolve financial-related issues
  • Perform advanced accounting research with written conclusions
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Interns, Paraprofessionals, Associates, and Senior Associates
  • Receive formal training, on-the-job training, and direct feedback from industry leaders
