The Manager of Advanced Analytics & Products within Northrop Grumman's People Analytics organization will lead a team focused on developing enterprise analytics products and delivering impactful analyses that inform workforce strategy. This role involves overseeing analytics solutions that support HR leaders and business partners in making informed decisions across various human capital areas, including talent acquisition, culture, and retention. The position emphasizes curiosity, strategic thinking, and collaboration to drive positive change within the organization.

  • Serve on the People Analytics leadership team to drive analytics and product strategy.
  • Lead a team of analytics engineers, developers, analysts, and data scientists focused on the people domain.
  • Create a roadmap for optimizing and integrating an existing portfolio of analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain innovative products leveraging data and advanced analytics.
  • Conduct strategic analyses and research to enable human capital objectives.
  • Identify and articulate team priorities based on business needs.
  • Communicate results to an executive audience to effectively tell the data story.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, OR a PhD and 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Deep curiosity and willingness to explore difficult questions.
  • Understanding of HR domain areas and metrics such as talent acquisition and compensation.
  • Demonstrated experience using analytics to inform decision making.
  • Experience in executive data storytelling and building concise presentations.
  • Ability to extract and manipulate data from databases (e.g., SQL).
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for statistical analyses.
  • Proficient in data visualization using Tableau or similar tools.
  • Experience collaborating on projects with multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills in an analytics capacity.
  • Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics).
  • Solid statistical understanding and exposure to advanced analytics, such as machine learning.
  • Experience leading web application development projects.
