About The Position

Comcast Advertising is driving the TV advertising industry forward, from delivering ads to linear and digital audiences to pioneering the tech that makes it possible. We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Five (5) years of experience developing software using cloud engineering technologies including AWS and Azure Cloud services.
• Five (5) years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Three (3) years of experience performing software automation using Ansible, Terraform, AWX, and Argo CD.
• Three (3) years of experience managing financial data using AWS Cost Optimization Tool, Azure Cost Optimizer and FinOps Framework.
• Three (3) years of experience developing software using Python.
• One (1) year of experience building Generative AI solutions using Langchain Framework, and Opensource Generative models including LLAMA3 and Semantic Kernel.
• Experience using AI technologies including AWS Bedrock, Azure ML Studio, and Edge Computing.

Responsibilities

• First-Level Supervisor of Software Development Engineers responsible for planning, designing, and developing software and web applications.
• Using cloud engineering technologies including AWS and Azure Cloud services.
• Building Generative AI solutions using Langchain Framework, and Opensource Generative models including LLAMA3, and Semantic Kernel.
• Managing software engineering teams.
• Using AI technologies including AWS Bedrock, Azure ML Studio, and Edge Computing.
• Performing software automation using Ansible, Terraform, AWX, and Argo CD.
• Managing financial data using AWS Cost Optimization Tool, Azure Cost Optimizer and FinOps Framework.
• Developing software using Python.
• Managing projects from design to testing, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications.
• Collaborating with Quality Assurance teams to conduct testing.
• Developing and administering performance standards for the organizational unit.
• Providing subject matter guidance to employees as required.
• Developing processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assist in the development and meeting of departmental budget.
• Overseeing the planning and designing of software and web applications.
• Providing guidance to the Software Engineering team and other departments in identifying product and technical requirements.
• Serving as the primary point of contact and liaison between Software Engineering and other teams.
• Directing implementation initiatives for new software products and applications.
• Organizing the software update process for existing applications and coordinating the roll-out of software releases.
• Managing all the deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines, specifications, and budgets.
• Implementing performance metrics and preparing periodic reports.
• Monitoring and tracking project progress and reporting findings to leadership team.
• Ensuring all engineers keep current with technological developments within the industry.
• Developing proposals, hardware, and software.
• Guiding and mentoring junior-level engineers.
