About The Position

1ST GEAR! is SIXT's global Management Trainee Program, a dynamic, 12-month journey designed to fast-track individuals into a real leadership role. From day one, participants will gain hands-on experience, take on responsibility, and develop the skills needed to lead in one of the world’s most innovative mobility companies. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are guaranteed placement into a leadership position, such as managing a downtown branch or becoming part of a high-performing airport leadership team. SIXT is looking for ambitious, curious, and proactive individuals who are ready to make an impact, lead with confidence, and shape the future of mobility.

Requirements

• Completed a bachelor's degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality and Management
• Have a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, driven to lead
• Strong communication skills in English
• Work independently, solve problems, and take ownership
• Required to work and travel within the United States as business needs dictate
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Have at least 1 year of driving experience

• Other languages (besides English) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Take on responsibility early in the 12-month program
• Support the achievement of operational goals
• Contribute to greater efficiency and shared success within the team
• Gain insights into key business areas such as Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management
• Develop further along clear learning and performance goals
• Work in the operational day-to-day business from day one
• Get to know core operations as a Rental Sales Agent
• Are supported through training in communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving strategies
• Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to learn leadership on the job
