Buckle is searching for the next leaders in retail and sales through its Management Trainee Program. As a Management Trainee, you will work directly with your Store Manager to develop essential skills in sales, recruiting, and leadership that will prepare you for a successful career as a Store Manager. This role involves sharing responsibility for training and motivating team members, and acting as the Store Manager in their absence. You will engage in various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks assigned by store management, including cashiering, merchandise display, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. The Management Trainee position is designed to foster both professional and personal growth. You will be expected to greet guests with a friendly attitude, provide exceptional customer service, and assist in generating sales. This includes answering questions about the store and its merchandise, recommending products based on guest needs, and maintaining knowledge of current promotions and policies. You will also be responsible for achieving personal sales goals and contributing to the overall success of the store. In addition to sales responsibilities, you will assist in recruiting, training, and developing new teammates, ensuring they meet Buckle's standards for accountability and performance. You will also play a key role in visual merchandising, managing product categories, and maintaining store standards. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods. As a Management Trainee, you will have the opportunity to establish relationships with management at various levels, including the Area Manager and District Manager, to ensure effective store operations. You will also be involved in completing store opening and closing procedures, adhering to loss prevention policies, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This role is crucial for those looking to advance their careers in retail management, providing a comprehensive training experience that prepares you for future leadership roles within the company.
