About The Position

Welcome to the relentless pursuit of better. Inviting applications for the role of Desk Reviewer This position manages an inventory of managed repair program claim assignments. Communicates with contractors regarding status, performs estimate reviews, and supports client adjusters and insurers on insurance restoration, water mitigation, and structural work assignments.

Requirements

  • Outstanding customer service skills coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Relationship development skills in the area of vendor management and customer service.
  • Knowledge of property insurance claim adjusting, insurance restoration estimating, and construction best practices.
  • Ability to write insurance restoration estimates in Xactimate and Symbility.
  • Ability to work with multiple parties to achieve positive results.
  • Ability to review, negotiate and reach agreements relating to estimate revisions with program contractors.
  • Computer literacy with a proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience writing estimates using Xactimate and Symbility.
  • Vendor management, customer service, or sales experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Active P & C Adjuster’s license This is a minimum requirement
  • Experience in the field of property adjusting and/or insurance restoration experience.
  • Xactimate and Symbility estimating experience. This is a minimum requirement
  • Xactimate level 1, 2, or 3 certifications.
  • IICRC WRT and ASD, or other certifications. This is a minimum requirement
  • Other construction designations.
  • Project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of active claims and the contractors working on those assignments.
  • Monitor assignments aging, statuses, and work product.
  • Daily follow-up regarding open items and communications.
  • Perform Quality Estimate reviews of Contractor estimates per client estimating guidelines.
  • Communicate with Contractors regarding clarifications and required changes.
  • Interact with Client Adjusters providing process and technical support.
  • Use tracking systems to manage activity.
  • Assist with periodic special projects.
  • Interact with Claim Manager regarding activity, questions, training, and all position needs.
  • Provide input to company regarding contractor performance.
