The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level position designed to prepare individuals for a Store Management role in 18-24 months. Following Sherwin-Williams’ promote-from-within philosophy, participants will have the opportunity to progress into an Assistant Store Manager position upon successful completion of the initial 8-week training. The typical schedule for this position is 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and/or weekends. During the program, trainees will collaborate with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing leadership and insight into the development and strategy of that store. The program covers all operations, clients, and internal strategy, enabling participants to understand their significant role in the team’s success. Trainees will also be responsible for growing the company’s market share by selling to large, commercial users such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers, and other commercial users who require large volumes of high-quality products. The training experience provides all the necessary skills for a successful career in management and professional sales, offering a clear career trajectory with opportunities for future growth.
