About The Position

AGRILAND FS is a growing cooperative offering products and services to a variety of consumers and businesses in Agriculture, Fuel, Lubricants, Propane, Structures, and Turf. This internship will be located at the corporate office in Winterset (30 minutes Southwest of Des Moines). Our internship program develops future leaders who possess critical thinking, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, who want to grow a career with AGRILAND FS. Position Offers: Paid internship of 8-12 weeks Opportunity to participate in specific intern company training, tours and projects Strong exposure to management leaders as mentors Ability to have autonomy with guidance Own real data-migration projects: clean, transform, and load large datasets from legacy systems into modern platforms Employee will perform and participate in: Own real data-migration projects: clean, transform, and load large datasets from legacy systems into modern platforms Build and deploy custom forms, automated workflows, and dashboards Develop internal tools and API integrations that remove manual work for the entire company Collaborate directly with stakeholders, ship solutions, and add legit projects to your portfolio/resume Choose your flavor: go deep on coding/automation (CS track) or process design + analytics (MIS track)

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a business or business-related degree (MIS or Computer Science preferred) at a 2 or 4 year college
  • Experience working independently and on a team
  • Experience learning business software and using software to accomplish projects
  • Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
  • Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
