About The Position

The primary purpose of the Management Assistant is to provide general administrative and management support within the EMS department at University Hospital. The role coordinates office operations and serves as a liaison with various units and administrative offices throughout University Hospital on behalf of the Executive Director of EMS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance (preferred), or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating financial, organizational, and/or administrative practices in a business or government agency.
  • Proficiency in computer applications as required by the department.
  • Equivalent experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for the education requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and management support within the EMS department.
  • Coordinate office operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow.
  • Serve as a liaison between the EMS department and various units and administrative offices throughout University Hospital.
  • Act on behalf of the Executive Director of EMS in communications and coordination with other departments.
