About The Position

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12 week summer program designed to provide hands-on experience in retail store management, sales, and operations. Interns will gain valuable insights into customer experiences and business management while working closely with a Sales Representative and management team. The program culminates in a project addressing critical business issues, fostering professional development and encouraging participants to apply for the Management & Sales Training Program upon completion.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Have at least one (1) year experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
• Previous experience in a team-oriented setting.
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, preferably Spanish.
• Be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in retail store management and operations.
• Travel with a Sales Representative to learn about outside sales.
• Complete a project addressing critical business issues alongside peers and leadership.
• Engage with customers and provide meaningful customer experiences.
• Participate in various aspects of sales, marketing, and merchandising.
