This position is to serve as a senior analyst and advisor to Branch management on the productivity and efficiency of managed work and support a variety of assignments drafting, analyzing, evaluating, and/or improving the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative procedures, policies, governance, reporting, organization, or branch functions.

  • Carrying out Branch management and process reviews and investigations utilizing quantitative analytical techniques and methodologies to identify areas of success and potential growth to improve Branch management, administrative, and EHP compliance processes.
  • Identifying internal and external programs, policies, procedures, practices, and systems to analyze and advise Branch management on the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and EHP compliance processes.
  • Providing management with short- and long-range recommendations based on program management studies emphasizing anticipated value of planned initiatives or changes.
  • Assisting with the development, drafting, and maintenance of the Branch's diverse and growing administrative processes, budget, and governance requirements.
  • Providing support for the Branch in the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of EHP training and education and outreach for internal and external FEMA program stakeholders.
  • Regularly serving as a representative in select Regional working groups and committees, presenting results of significant analytical studies.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation.
  • Selective Service registration required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
  • Must be able to deploy with little or no advance notice to anywhere in the United States and its territories for an extended period of time.
  • One full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-11 level in the Federal government.
  • Experience in software systems, such as Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Microsoft.
