This position will directly support all aspects of the planning, programming, budget and accountability for NRD's current and multi-year budget and programs, including spend plans and tracking of funds. This position starts at a salary of $88,621.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $137,000.00 (GS-13, Step 10). The major duties of this position include the following: Providing expert level advice, execution, and forecasting on the budget functions of the division. Serving as the trouble-shooter, providing guidance on problems not susceptible to resolution by accepted methods. Coordinating budget activities for CBP NRD leadership, supporting staff, advising and providing analytical support on problem definition, planning methodologies, policies, and procedures. Serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and working as a liaison with the Contracting Officer and programs providing procurement guidance and recommendations.
