About the position
The Management Analyst position within the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) focuses on enhancing organizational effectiveness and efficiency through analytical and evaluative methods. The role involves reviewing and analyzing Safety Management System (SMS) policies, leading audits and assessments, and providing data-driven insights to senior management regarding trends and risks in the National Airspace System (NAS). The analyst will also manage projects related to safety assessments and develop new policies to align with FAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Utilize analytical methods to review and analyze SMS policies.
- Provide findings to senior management for decision-making regarding trends or risks in the NAS.
- Lead complex audits and assessments, coordinating team activities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of quality assurance data and SMS policy documents.
- Identify discrepancies in documents and develop new or improved policies.
- Retrieve, analyze, and transform data into actionable information.
- Perform predictive and prescriptive analysis to address current and anticipated issues.
- Manage large audit and assessment projects, developing project plans and schedules.
- Facilitate team meetings to track project progress and ensure task completion.
- Prepare and recommend approvals of major reports for internal and external distribution.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50.
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative methods to develop and recommend improvements to systems and processes.
- Experience analyzing reports and validating data using technological media.
