About The Position
If you are passionate about financial analysis, data visualization, and public service, we want you on our team! The Business Office of Maine's Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) manages the fiscal aspects of agency operations, including accounts payable and receivable, procurement, and budget forecasting. This position administers and monitors the fiscal requirements of both federal and state funds received by the agency in collaboration with grant program staff. The position also works with the Business Office Director to report financial information throughout the agency and make recommendations for improvements to further our mission. Employment at MEMA provides an additional exciting opportunity to serve the citizens of Maine by working in the State Emergency Operations Center and/or in the field after a disaster to assist with recovery needs.
