About The Position
The position involves researching and comparing historical performance, initiating special studies using operations research, process improvement, or applied statistical methods. The candidate will manage Maintenance Information Systems such as Integrated Maintenance Data System or Field Maintenance Command & Control (FMxC2/G081), focusing on system access, troubleshooting customer issues, and ensuring system security. Responsibilities also include authoring data retrievals and extracting data from information systems for transformation in office automation applications, utilizing languages such as Structured Query Language, InfoAssist+, Visual Basic, and Powershell. The role requires collecting, reviewing, and analyzing maintenance, production scheduling, supply, training, and quality assurance data for trends and defects, as well as performing independent research and analysis on complex problems to identify effective solutions that address a wide range of mission or organizational needs.
