Requirements

• Pursuing BS in a STEM-based field (ie. Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Class status as a junior (3rd year) or greater
• 2 or more years of relevant software development coursework, including Python preferred
• Development experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, or Python
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, generative AI tools, or building AI-driven applications or agents (academic or project-based experience acceptable)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.), especially for AI or data-driven solutions
• Experience collaborating on product or project teams to translate technical concepts into practical use cases
• Experience with one of the JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJS, VueJS, etc.) is a plus
• Experience in web, mobile and responsive design is a plus
• Solid technical competency in coding and testing; strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed
• Ability to be open-minded and receptive to feedback in an intellectually rigorous environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Great verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop software using technologies such as .Net, C#, MS SQL Server, Google Cloud Platform, Python, and emerging AI tools
• Participate in the design and development of AI-driven solutions, including building and testing AI agents within cloud environments
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to explore practical AI use cases and support implementation from concept to deployment
• Contribute to development of APIs and application infrastructure supporting both traditional and AI-enabled web applications
• Apply best coding practices and standards, including experimentation with AI-assisted development workflows
• Work in an agile start-up environment with daily standups, live coding collaboration, and continuous integration
