The Managed Services Senior Operations Analyst – Fund Accounting role is a senior individual contributor responsible for delivering accurate, timely fund accounting and managed services support for assigned clients. The role serves as a subject‑matter expert and escalation point for complex operational and accounting issues, while partnering with leadership to improve processes, support team development, and ensure consistent service quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in fund accounting, managed services, or financial operations; alternative investments experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and investment accounting.
  • Advanced Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Clear, professional communicator with strong collaboration skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, MBA, or similar designation a plus.
  • Understanding of Trust Operations, Financial Markets, Securities Industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain fund accounting records, including general ledgers, trial balances, NAVs, and financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards using the Black Diamond Trust software.
  • Execute and oversee daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes, meeting all deadlines and service‑level expectations.
  • Review and resolve complex reconciliations, accounting exceptions, and operational issues; escalate risks and recommended solutions as appropriate.
  • Primary liaison for book of business and work closely with external parties such as auditors, law firms and tax advisors.
  • Support security‑related activities such as trade settlement, corporate actions, and shadow posting.
  • Serve as a key client contact, providing professional and responsive communication and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on team processes, systems, and controls; support advanced processing and issue resolution.
  • Assist with onboarding and implementation of new clients or entities.
  • Support team development through knowledge sharing, documentation, and hands‑on guidance.
