Job Summary The Managed Services Power Systems Engineer – IBM I is responsible for a range of tasks including operating system installation and upgrades, installation and configuration of various software packages, and ordering and installation of patches and fixes (PTFs). The role also involves problem analysis, documentation, root-cause analysis, and the creation of incident reports. Additionally, the engineer will handle troubleshooting, problem resolution, maintenance, and support, as well as performing cost analysis and technical reviews of customer environments. This position requires direct contact with CDW customers, which includes occasional travel to customer sites, approximately 10% of the time.
