We are searching for a talented Mammography Technologist. $10,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (Rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible). Hours: 32 flex 40hrs. Shift: Day/Evening shift, various 8 hour shifts between 7:00am - 5:00pm and evening rotation till 7:00pm; Weekend rotation is every 4th or 5th Saturday 7:30am - 11:30am. Location: Breast Center - Dartmouth, MA.
Responsibilities
- Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within mammography and radiography as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
- Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request.
- Obtain pertinent information from patient’s chart and document all data within the EHR.
- Educate patient for exam.
- Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies.
- Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure.
- Select technical factors/parameters/sequences to produce quality images.
- Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality.
