Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology required
• Active ARRT and LSRTBE Licensure required
• Current BLS certification required
• Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification required
• Performance of a minimum of 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an appropriate MQSA qualified individual.
• At least 8 hours of training in using any modality (e.g., digital) before beginning to use that modality independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography imaging services on mobile medical clinic.
• Preventive maintenance of mammography equipment.
• Participate in community breast cancer screenings.
