About The Position

Mammography Technologist, Full-Time Help save lives through early detection-while living and working on the Washington Coast. Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography to join our close-knit imaging team. You will: Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams Educate and support patients through often stressful or emotional appointments Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the exam process Collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate, timely results Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards Prepare and assist patients for mammography and other imaging procedures as assigned

Requirements

  • ARRT certification required (Mammography certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license in good standing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Position patients accurately for mammographic imaging
  • Select appropriate technical factors to produce optimal images
  • Operate mammography and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Provide radiation protection in accordance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
  • Practice infection control and sterile techniques
  • Support a culture of patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork
  • Participate in on-call coverage for modalities in which you are trained, as needed
  • Pursue continuing education and complete required training on time
