About The Position

The Mammography Technologist works under general supervision to assist the radiologist in performing screening and diagnostic procedures for patients; and works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; provides patient education in breast healthcare.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited/certified Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT Certification
• Current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist
• BLS for health care workers preferred
• Employees who meet the minimal requirements: This position requires you to become a Registered Mammography Technologist within the first year of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Radiologic Technologist degree in Mammography in good standing with the ARRT
• Good clerical skills including ability to file and type, ability to operate office computers
• Knowledge of healthy work habits
• Must be capable of multitasking
