Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week How you’ll contribute A Mammography Technologist who excels in this role performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail under the direction of the Leader of Imaging Services, Radiologist and Supervisor. The Lead Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. The Lead Mammography Technologist assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required. Lead Mammography technologist is responsible for daily operations of mammography department, procures supplies, maintains schedules, responsible for PI and ACR, MQSA guidelines. Adheres to hospital polices and Standards of Behavior guidelines. What we’re looking for Applicants should hold an associates degree in a program of discipline (required qualifications). Additional requirements include: A State Radiologic lieense; A.R.R.T certification; Mammography certification Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association upon hire. Requirements
