MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST (PRN- AS NEEDED)

Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients and our team members. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Explain exam procedures and answer questions. Ensure properly functioning equipment. High-quality digital mammography and dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) exams. Evaluate the quality of images. Provide the physician with pertinent patient history. Document mammography procedures completed and process related paperwork. Maintain examination room, stock supplies and materials. Compile information and prepare reports. REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program EXPERIENCE: One or more years of experience as a Mammographer, including 3D mammography. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program
- One or more years of experience as a Mammographer, including 3D mammography.
- Board certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography
- Certification in Mammography
- DEXA Certification
- Vaid state license as a Radiographer
- CPR/BLS Certification
