About The Position
Mammography Technologist PRN to work in the Radiology Department at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia.
Requirements
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Advanced registry in mammography required.
- Continuing education credits in Mammography required.
- Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school
Nice To Haves
- Two years mammography experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.
- Maintains technical competency through continued education.
- Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.
- Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
- Enters patient’s questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into system.
