Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs. Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient and physician needs. Assists radiologist with mammographic procedures. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified by ARRT in Mammography
- Licensed Registered Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification
- One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist/Mammographer.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of diagnostic mammography procedures.
- Assists radiologist in performing needle localizations.
- Assures correct patient information on requests and reports.
- Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
