Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Hospital or College based accredited Radiological Technology program
  • Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Within 1 year of hire date: National Registered Technologist - Mammography
  • Radiology experience in a hospital or clinic setting including film processing experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: 40 hours of formal training in Mammography and completion of 25 supervised mammograms, as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Acts (MQSA).
