Find out how you can Make It Possible: In this role, the Mammography Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of Mammo procedures. You'll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This is a full time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working Monday - Friday from 12:00pm - 8:00pm.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
- All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses
