About The Position

What you will be doing: Per Diem, Mammography Technologist Perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures. Produce ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams. Interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care. Evolve with radiology information system (RIS) and PACS systems. Participate in performance improvement activities in the department. Maintain appropriate quality control records and participate in routine equipment testing and maintenance. Train and interact with students and new hires when necessary. Perform other related duties assigned by the department. Experience you will need: Per Diem, Mammography Technologist Graduate of a formal radiology technology training program in an AMA-approved school. Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and cover other client locations. Minimum of 3 years of Mammography experience for Senior level. More than 5 years of Mammography experience for Principal level. ARRT Mammography Certification. CRT Radiology License. CRT Mammography License. BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification. Requires proof of mammography-specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999. Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar). Requires certificates of at least 15 CEUs in Mammography in the last 36-month period (rolling 36-month calendar). Requires proof of MQSA-approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training.
