Mammography Technologist
About The Position
Saint Michael's Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist (ARRT Mammo) to perform screening and diagnostic mammography in an acute care hospital setting. The Mammo Tech / Radiologic Technologist will provide exceptional patient care, ensure high-quality breast imaging, and maintain compliance with ACR, state, and federal regulations. This role includes image processing, PACS transmission, quality control, and team collaboration. Requirements
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferrred
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities
- Perform mammography exams per department protocol
- Ensure accurate image acquisition, processing, and PACS transmission
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Participate in QC / PI activities and ACR compliance
- Maintain mammography equipment and department supplies
- Escalate equipment or service issues to leadership
