About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join a dynamic team at an acute/academic medical center in Syracuse, NY. This role involves operating a mobile mammography van , providing essential screening and diagnostic services to patients across the region.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
NYS License/Registration (or eligibility) and ARRT Certification in Mammography required.
Minimum 1 year of progressive technical experience in mammography .
Proficiency in mammography imaging and mobile unit operations.
Strong communication, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography screenings and diagnostic procedures.
Operate and maintain equipment on the mobile mammography van .
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to protocols.
Travel to multiple locations within NY as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
