About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is Seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, 3D tomosynthesis, and DEXA exams. Responsibilities include operating digital imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety, maintaining QC documentation, supporting efficient workflow, and providing exceptional patient care. Must adhere to MQSA, ACR, and state regulations while ensuring accurate documentation, proper image processing, and effective communication with radiologists and clinical staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED; JCERT-accredited Radiography Program graduate.
• ARRT-certified; active MA Radiology/Mammography license.
• Current BLS; experience with 3D Digital Breast Tomosynthesis.
• Ability to become proficient in DEXA.

Nice To Haves

• ARRT Advanced Bone Density Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D/3D mammography, stereotactic procedures, and DEXA exams.
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment; ensure radiation safety and image quality.
• Complete patient identification, histories, education, and referrals as needed.
• Maintain daily/weekly QC for mammography and DEXA equipment; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Process images in PACS, manage worklists, and support workflow efficiency.
• Provide compassionate patient care, maintain confidentiality, and follow safety protocols.
