We are currently seeking a full time (0.9 FTE) day shift Mammography Technologist to join our team at Peace Harbor Medical Center in beautiful Florence, Oregon. As a Mammography Technologist, you'll perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures, integrating technical expertise withpassionate patient care. You'll play a vital role in early detection and diagnosis, helping patients navigate their health journey with confidence and support.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiography required; Mammography certification within 6 months of hire.
Oregon Radiologic Technologist license through Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and BLS certification required.
Strongmunication, organizational, and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet patient and physician needs.
Perform high-quality mammographic imaging while ensuring patientfort and safety.
Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and team members to optimize diagnostic accuracy.
Maintainpliance with MQSA and ACR standards, including quality control documentation.
