About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join a dynamic team at an acute/academic medical center in Syracuse, NY. This role involves operating a mobile mammography van, providing essential screening and diagnostic services to patients across the region.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• NYS License/Registration (or eligibility) and ARRT Certification in Mammography required.
• Minimum 1 year of progressive technical experience in mammography.
• Proficiency in mammography imaging and mobile unit operations.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and a patient-centered approach.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography screenings and diagnostic procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment on the mobile mammography van.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to protocols.
• Travel to multiple locations within NY as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
