Location: Mobile Mammography Coach – Hi-Line Position Type: PRN - Scheduled As Needed (with potential for Full-Time) Training Opportunity: X-ray Technologists welcome — willing to train in Mammography Position Summary Logan Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join our Mobile Mammography Coach serving the Hi-Line region. This PRN position offers the potential to move into a full-time role and provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact through early detection and prevention of breast cancer. X-ray Technologists with an interest in mammography are encouraged to apply—training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current ARRT certification
  • Valid Montana State Radiologic Technologist license
  • BLS certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Driving record for the past thirty-six (36) months free of major offenses (e.g., DUI, felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, or three (3) or more moving violations)
  • Personal vehicle must carry state-minimum liability insurance if used for Logan Health business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with critical thinking and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice To Haves

  • Mammography certification preferred or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred
  • ARDMS certification required
  • One (1) year experience preferred in one or more of the following: Quality control Breast sonography Stereotactic biopsies

Responsibilities

  • Properly identify and prepare patients for mammography exams, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
  • Obtain and document relevant patient history and exam-related information accurately
  • Perform mammography imaging and process images for radiologist review
  • Complete all required documentation according to departmental protocols
  • Ensure patients understand exam results and available options as communicated by the Radiologist
  • Perform arrival, end-of-day, and next-day preparation duties per department procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including stocking and inventory control
  • Assist with quality assurance activities and preparation for ACR and FDA accreditation
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development related to mammography
