Ensures accurate patient identification, reviews orders/requisitions, and documents history in compliance with American College of Radiology standards. Operates and manages imaging systems (RIS/PACS), verifying image quality, proper labeling, and successful transmission. Maintains strict quality assurance and radiation safety practices, including ALARA principles and regulatory compliance. Delivers safe, professional patient care while managing workflow, documentation, supplies, and coordination with other modalities.

Requirements

• Education – Graduate of recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technol-ogy.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
• State certification as Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.).
• Requires Mammography Certification and current CPR and AED certification.

• Experience – Two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology desired
