About The Position
PART TIME-DAYS Monday, Wednesday and Friday 930 - 6 on Mondays. 730-4 on Wed/Fri About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care. Scope of work Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Requirements
- Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Additional Mammography (ARRT)(M) certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and /or the American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 Years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
