About The Position

Radiology Ltd. is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee for our Wilmot or La Cholla sites Monday - Friday. Work Schedule: Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. If you are a certified Radiology Technologist and are looking to be trained to become a certified Mammography Technologist, we have an opportunity for you! Requirements

  • The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology and have current Arizona State Licensure.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sensitive to the needs of patients
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to follow the instructions of the Radiologist
  • View images and capable of adjusting parameters to achieve high quality diagnostic imaging
  • Ability to maneuver equipment
  • Ability to prepare patients for procedures including moving patients
  • This is a safety sensitive position

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service - Ability to provide excellent patient care, acting with professionalism and empathy at all times.
  • Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
  • Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.
